Encounters is the first part of a trilogy on the night called Realms Nocturna. Over an eight-year period, Arko Datto explored the end of the night with all its manifest and hidden interpretation. In his images he strives to seek the sense of life that exists within the layered folds of darkness and to capture what the night means for him as well as for others who are in direct and often brutal confrontation with it.
